Two questions decide whether Macropay works for you: can your customers pay, and can we pay you. The good news is that the first answer is “almost always yes,” and the second covers most of the world. As your Merchant of Record, we also own the part most teams dread — calculating, collecting, and remitting sales tax and VAT in every jurisdiction your buyers live in.

Where customers can pay

Macropay accepts card payments from buyers in nearly every country. Card capture is routed across multiple licensed, PCI DSS Level 1 compliant acquiring partners and balanced by region, so authorization rates stay high whether the cardholder is in São Paulo or Seoul. The only places we cannot accept payments from are jurisdictions under US comprehensive sanctions or specific OFAC restrictions:

Everywhere else, you can collect — and because we’re the seller of record on the customer’s statement, the tax liability for those international sales sits with us, not you.

Where we pay you out

We originate payouts straight from our own bank to yours, picking the cheapest viable rail for your country. There’s no payout fee on the local rails — ACH and SEPA are free; SWIFT is passed through at the intermediary banks’ cost. If your bank can receive an international transfer and your country isn’t on a US sanctions / OFAC list, we can pay you.

Selling AI agents, an API, or any usage-based product? Borders don’t change the billing model. Meter usage, activity, or outcomes the same way everywhere — Macropay still settles to you in one currency and handles tax in each buyer’s jurisdiction.

FAQ

Yes. As long as your bank accepts incoming ACH, SEPA, or SWIFT transfers — most do — you can receive payouts as an individual. Onboarding asks for your bank details and identity verification, both standard MoR requirements.
Your dashboard balance is held in your account’s default currency. At payout, we convert at the prevailing bank FX rate and show you the breakdown. Any fees charged by intermediary banks on a SWIFT transfer are deducted from that payout.
Not on your side. As Merchant of Record, Macropay is the seller of record for every sale no matter where the buyer is, and we remit the tax owed in each location. You still get one consolidated payout in your local currency.
